Establishing ourselves in 2011, we built a team of experienced game developers who had won numerous game awards across multiple genres and platforms. After years of developing AAA titles at legendary studios such as Microprose, Firaxis, and Big Huge Games, we banded together to pour our love and passion into a new genre of strategy game that we have been dying to create.
Our philosophy is that the best way to make a game is to play it every day... and we still do. Sparkypants continues to believe in fun, creativity, openness, iteration, responsibility, civic-mindedness, and hard work. We love what we do, and we think you will too.

JASON COLEMAN
CEO and Lead Hookatango
Founder of Sparkypants: Developed expertise in live-ops and self-publishing through work with Spryfox, Klei Entertainment, Gameforge, Bethesda, Microsoft, Amazon, and Nexon.
Co-Founder and CTO of Big Huge Games: Leveraged Microsoft investment into strategy and RPG hits. Acquired by THQ in 2008.
Firaxis: The first hire, worked with Brian Reynolds and Sid Meier and built the infrastructure for Sid Meier’s Gettysburg and Alpha Centauri. Firaxis was later sold to Take 2.
Microprose: Programmer with Brian Reynolds on Civilization II.

Art Director
All-purpose artist and designer with a specialty in architecture. Art Lead on all titles at Big Huge Games and Sparkypants. Creator of Rivet Wars Boardgame and Miniatures.
IKE ELLIS
Creative Director
Designer, programmer, and concept builder. Developed campaign for Rise of Nations, Executive Producer on Kingdoms of Amalur. Co-founder of Command.app.
PRANAS PAULIUKONIS
Technical Director
Gameplay and systems architecture wizard. Lead gameplay programmer and Architect at Sparkypants, Big Huge Games and Zynga, AI at EA Tiburon. Created BHG, Cityville 2 and Dropzone Game Engines.
